In beautiful surroundings in the Tårnsalen (Tower Hall) in the University Museum we had a great gathering with mingling, lecture and dinner. The lecture was given by occupational psychologist Stian Midtgård on how the motivational interview technique can be an engaging tool in our role as mentors.

Solstrand gathering
This week I attended my first TMS-UiB career program event, at Solstrand hotel. The two-day event was packed with interesting talks and discussions, networking with other TMS grant holders, and very good food! Unfortunately it was very wet, but some still went for a swim (or a dip rather) in the sea!

Logo for the ReCat4Polymer is ready!
The project logo is ready, and more importantly, the first PhD-student is en route – arriving in Bergen next week!

I am back in the office, ReCat4Polymer starts today, and the first PhD-student has signed the contract!
